Billing
We appreciate you choosing Heartland Surgery Center for your outpaitent procedure. Please review the following financial responsibilities. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
As a courtesy to our patients, we will submit medical claims to your primary and secondary insurance carrier.
You will not receive a bill from the Heartland Surgery Center until your insurance provider has processed your claim. If your insurance does not cover the full amount of the claim, you will receive a bill for the remainder of the charges. It is your obligation to pay this portion within 30 days. A statement of your account is sent to you monthly. If you need to make arrangements for payment, please contact our billing department.
If your insurance provider does not pay your bill in a timely manner, you will be responsible for payment of the bill. If you pay a bill that is later paid by your insurance company, you will be refunded any overpayment due within 30 days.
